Shiverpool Community Spirit is a grassroots organisation rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Merseyside; we promote Community Guardianship of Merseyside’s diverse heritage, sharing stories of people and place for the benefit of future generations.

Our mission is to connect people with their city, their history and most importantly each other, by empowering individuals and communities to shape the stories and decisions that affect their lives.

We champion creative health and wellbeing through interactive learning experiences and welcoming, accessible community-based activities.

We bring people from different backgrounds into shared cultural spaces on city streets, in parks, and through performances. Our storytelling walks, heritage campaigns, workshops and clean-up days are accessible, welcoming and vibrant. They help people reconnect to each other, their history and their own potential. Many participants from a wide range of back grounds benefit from new ways to connect with others and feel part of a community

Through storytelling, creative expression, outdoor learning and mentoring, we support participants to process experiences, build confidence and find HOPE.
